This is one of Learning Tree Farm's most popular programs.

It explores the life of Ohio settlers in the 1800's.
Students experience how Ohio settlers met their basic needs by participating at several work stations.
Students will use antique tools and equipment: corn sheller, scales, washboards, flour grinders, shoe lasts, wool carders, drop spindles.

Students also learn pioneer games from the 1800's play area including: hoops and sticks, corn cob toss, quoits (ring toss) and log walking.

This program is for Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Graders only. Offered Thursdays in September, October and November.
